Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 18, 2025

1. Introduction

EdgeHawk, LLC ("EdgeHawk," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users ("you," "your"). This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect, how we use and disclose such information, your choices, and our compliance with applicable California privacy laws. By accessing or using our website and services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to the terms of this Policy.

2. Scope and Applicability

Geographic Scope: This Policy governs personal data collected from users in the United States only. We do not presently offer services in the European Union or other jurisdictions subject to GDPR.

Age Requirement: You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to register for or use the Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under eighteen (18).

3. Definitions

  • "Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with an individual consumer or household.
  • "Usage Data" means information about your interactions with the Platform (e.g., pages visited, features used, search terms, timestamps).
  • "Anonymized Data" means data that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify an individual.

4. Information We Collect

  • Account & Billing Information: Name, email address, billing address, and payment details (processed by a PCI-compliant third party).
  • Preferences: Explicit preferences (favorite sports, preferred sportsbooks, intended use cases such as fantasy or wager analysis) and preferences inferred from your behavior.
  • Usage & Analytics Data: Comprehensive event logs—search terms, bets analyzed, feature interactions—captured via Google Analytics and our internal logging systems.
  • Technical Data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, cookie identifiers, and similar tracking technologies.

5. How We Use Information

  • Service Provisioning: To authenticate your account, process payments, and provide customer support.
  • Product Improvement: To analyze feature usage, diagnose technical issues, and enhance Platform performance.
  • Personalization: To tailor content, recommendations, and in-app messaging to your interests.
  • Marketing Communications: To send newsletters or promotional offers, only if you have expressly opted in.
  • Anonymized Data Sales: To sell aggregated, de-identified usage trends to affiliates and partners.

6. Information Sharing and Disclosure

  • No Sale of Personal Information: We do not sell, trade, or rent your name, email address, or billing information.
  • Anonymized Data: We may share or sell Anonymized Data with third-party affiliates (e.g., market-research firms). Such data contains no identifiers.
  • Service Providers: We disclose Personal Information to vendors (hosting, payments, analytics, support) under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

7. Data Retention

  • Personal Information: Retained for the duration of your account plus twelve (12) months following account closure, unless otherwise required by law.
  • Usage Data: Retained for no more than eighteen (18) months, then automatically purged.

8. Security Measures

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
  • Access controls limiting data to authorized personnel.
  • Periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments.

9. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access & Correction: You may review and update your Personal Information by logging into your account or contacting us at the address below.
  • Deletion: You may request deletion of your Personal Information by contacting us; we will comply unless retention is required by law.
  • Opt-Out of Marketing: You can unsubscribe from marketing communications via the "unsubscribe" link in our emails or in your account settings.
  • Cookie Preferences: You may manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or our cookie-preference center.

10. California Privacy Rights

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), California residents have the following rights regarding their Personal Information:

  • Right to Know: Request disclosure of categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we've collected.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of Personal Information we've collected from you.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA rights.
  • Sale of Anonymized Data: Because we only sell Anonymized Data (which is not "personal information" under CCPA), you may opt out of inclusion in these anonymized data sets by contacting us.

To exercise any of these rights, please submit a request to privacy@edgehawk.ai. We will verify your identity before processing requests.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may modify this Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will post a prominent notice on our Platform and send an email to registered users. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
